Abstract

Abstract: Anta Rai – The Mathematics of Systemic Resilience Context: Modern infrastructure and biological models prioritize maximal connectivity and efficiency, often reaching a "Rigidity Threshold" where the system becomes brittle. Objective: This paper (RS-2026-BIOAC-10) introduces the Anta Rai framework to quantify Structural Slack—the essential reserve of degrees of freedom required for adaptation. Methodology: Using constraint-counting and topological analysis of spatially embedded graphs, the research identifies a Metastable Regime. This zone, located between fragmentation and total rigidity, allows systems to absorb shocks through local reconfiguration. Results: Findings suggest that a "Slack-Ratio" (the 0.43/0.57 balance) is not an inefficiency but a fundamental requirement for survival. Systems operating at peak efficiency without slack face catastrophic failure under stochastic stress. Conclusion: Anta Rai provides a deterministic metric for resilience, urging a shift from output-maximization to structural flexibility.
