Frameworks to Guide Medical Staffing and Skill Mix Decisions in Hospital Settings: A Scoping Review of National and International Practices and Implementation Enablers and Barriers

This scoping review will identify and map national and international frameworks and structured approaches used to guide medical staffing and skill mix decisions in hospital settings. It will examine framework components, development, implementation, evaluation, and reported enablers and barriers. Findings will inform the co-design of an evidence-informed framework for hospital doctor staffing and skill mix in Ireland.
