Abstract

This project aims to conduct a scoping review to systematically map the existing literature on digital phenotyping and digital follow-up approaches used in the survivorship care of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors. AYAs (defined as individuals diagnosed with cancer between 15 and 39 years of age) represent a distinct population with specific long-term follow-up needs due to the risk of late effects, impacts on health-related quality of life, and challenges related to engagement with survivorship care after treatment completion. The primary purpose of this scoping review is to identify and synthesise facilitators and barriers to adoption, indicators of success, and reported health outcomes associated with digital phenotyping–supported and digitally enabled follow-up approaches in Late-AYA populations. The review focuses on studies conducted in the post-treatment survivorship or follow-up phase, including observational, pilot, feasibility, and interventional studies.
