PRRICCE: Foundational Theory and Epistemology
Abstract
This registration archives the PRRICCE specifications document — a detailed elaboration of the PRRICCE framework as the minimal substrate-agnostic physical law governing persistent intelligent systems. This document is one of the core composition instructions of PRRICCE: the composition and application direction of PRRICCE Equilibrium. The PRRICCE Equilibrium Inequality defines the boundary between transient and persistent configurations. Positive margin sustains driving force; violation activates recursive attractors — inward closure or simplification. Reversible computation exemplifies a recursive attractor: by minimizing dissipative cost, it extends positive balance indefinitely within current physical limits. Brain-like sparse connectivity achieves similar efficiency biologically. These attractors are not optional — they are the necessary outcome when expansion violates the inequality Related prior work: PRRICCE Project DOI:10.17605/OSF.IO/AFVHP Recursive Closure (2025, DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/UAF24) PRRICCE Equilibrium on Drake Equation (2026, DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/DVXUA) Registrations provide frozen, timestamped versions.
