Gravitational Curvature in Closed and Open Informational Regimes
Abstract
We show that the long-standing S₈ tension—the discrepancy between CMB-predicted and low-redshift observed structure growth—can be naturally addressed by treating the universe as an informationally open system. We introduce a controlled informational openness parameter, Γ, which quantifies irreversible information transfer without modifying the geometric sector of General Relativity. This framework preserves all local gravitational tests while providing a specific, scale-dependent damping mechanism for matter perturbations. The model constitutes a minimal and consistent extension to ΛCDM, offering a principled pathway to reconcile early-universe constraints with late-time structure growth.
