Mapping Physical Activity Interventions Within Multidisciplinary Care for Chronic Pain: A Scoping Review
Abstract
This project aims to register the protocol of a scoping review designed to map and describe the characteristics of physical activity interventions implemented within multidisciplinary care for individuals with chronic pain. The review seeks to identify the types of interventions, the populations involved, the settings, the methodological approaches used, and the existing knowledge gaps in the literature. Although this scoping review may utilize data sources similar to a related systematic review, it has a distinct exploratory aim and does not intend to synthesize intervention effects. The protocol is developed following the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodological guidance for scoping reviews and will be reported according to the PRISMA-ScR checklist.
