The Katariya Unified Consciousness Framework: A Unified Model of Awareness, Reality, and Cognitive Dynamics
Abstract
The Katariya Unified Consciousness Framework (KUCF) is a theoretical framework that integrates philosophical, cognitive, and formal approaches to the study of consciousness. The project aims to unify multiple previously developed models into a single conceptual structure describing the relationship between awareness, neural processes, subjective time, and reality construction. KUCF treats consciousness as an active and irreducible process that interacts with, but is not reducible to, neural computation. The framework introduces a consciousness–brain action formalism to describe coupling dynamics, a symmetry-based ground state representing minimal conscious differentiation, and frequency-dependent models of subjective time and dimensional experience. Emotional resonance is proposed as a mediating mechanism through which conscious awareness couples to neural and cognitive systems. The framework synthesizes earlier theoretical work by the author, including the Factual Mind Hypothesis, the Consciousness Dream Effect, the Selective Reality Hypothesis, Noetherian Consciousness Symmetry, and dimensional frequency-based models. These components are reorganized into a unified architecture intended to clarify their relationships and shared assumptions. This work is presented as a conceptual and exploratory contribution rather than a finalized empirical theory. Its primary objective is to provide a coherent foundation for interdisciplinary discussion, theoretical refinement, and potential future empirical investigation within consciousness studies.
