Abstract

The proliferation of heterogeneous software platforms has shifted complexity from isolated application logic to system-wide composition and coordination. While existing architectural approaches address platform-specific concerns, they often lack a unifying perspective that operates above individual runtimes and languages. This paper presents an architectural view of softist meta-systems, focusing on how software components, platform targets, and transformation processes can be organized within a coherent meta-system layer. Rather than proposing a concrete framework or implementation, this work outlines structural roles, architectural boundaries, and interaction patterns characteristic of softist systems. The presented architecture aims to support cross-platform consistency, extensibility, and controlled variability while remaining independent of specific programming languages or execution environments.
