Abstract

This project documents the protocol for a systematic literature review examining ICT design and usability challenges in social media platforms for older adults. The review follows PRISMA 2020 guidelines and focuses on usability barriers, accessibility issues, and design-related factors affecting digital inclusion. Peer-reviewed studies were identified through searches in major bibliographic databases. The search strategy, eligibility criteria, and screening process are reported in the manuscript. This protocol is registered retrospectively to enhance transparency.
