Abstract

This registration documents the full protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis investigating the antibacterial potency of marine-derived actinomycete metabolites against multidrug-resistant (MDR) clinically relevant bacterial pathogens. The primary outcome is the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC, µg/mL), log2-transformed for quantitative synthesis. Random-effects meta-analysis using REML estimation will be conducted when sufficient homogeneity is present. Risk of bias will be assessed using the OHAT tool for preclinical studies. The review follows PRISMA 2020, PRISMA-P, and PRISMA-S guidelines. All extracted data and statistical code will be made publicly available in accordance with Open Science and FAIR principles.
