Fluid management in end-of-life palliative care patients: a scoping review
Abstract
We propose a scoping review to identify and map available evidence regarding fluid management in patients receiving palliative care. The study will be based on data published in the scientific literature throughout electronic medical databases. In accordance with the brazilian national research ethics committee, given the lack of identifiable individual research participants and the use of aggregately available data of primary studies, this research Project will be exempt from submission to a regional ethics committee. This study aims to map and identify knowledge gaps regarding this management among different subgroups of patients at the end of life.
