Abstract

Digital health interventions (DHIs) show promise for managing chronic diseases in older adults but risk exacerbating health inequities. Evidence suggests that community engagement is essential for designing equitable interventions. However, it remains unclear how community-engaged practices are incorporated into the development and implementation of DHIs for older adults with chronic conditions. This scoping review mapped the application of Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) within this domain.
