( BSD ) Structural Closure of the Birch–Swinnerton–Dyer Conjecture via Structural Variance Control
Abstract
This project applies Structural Variance Control (SVC) to the Birch–Swinnerton–Dyer (BSD) Conjecture, reframing the problem from one of unresolved analytic verification to one of structural admissibility. Rather than attempting a direct proof or counterexample, the work asks a logically prior question: Is failure of the BSD conjecture structurally admissible within its defining framework? By reformulating BSD as a compatibility statement between analytic and arithmetic determinant-line trivializations, the analysis exhausts all admissible structural deformations consistent with functoriality, descent, normalization coherence, and isogeny invariance. The study demonstrates that no admissible variance permits a decoupling of these structures. The conclusion is that the BSD conjecture is structurally closed: within its accepted formulation, failure is not merely unobserved, but structurally impossible.
