Abstract

The present study seeks two primary objectives. First, we aim to develop a set of 3D smoking-related images and validate them in a group of Light to heavy smokers. Second, we incorporate the validated images into a smoking cessation application, termed the Smoking Exposure Application (SEA), designed to expose smokers with smoking-related cues in familiar contexts (e.g., a table in user’s living room) and to elicit craving without providing an actual cigarette. The SEA is developed using AR technology to offer a more realistic and immersive smoking-related experience for users.
