Abstract

This project presents a production breakdown of Seval’s Sketch Theory, a reconstructive model for human memory and perception. The theory posits that memory, dreaming, and distinct types of visual impairment are reconstructed as a process, either through perceptual and recall stages, or through a period of continued underperformance. Dreaming and sleep paralysis are treated as reconstructed fragments that are either directional or interrupted, while neurodegenerative visual impairments are interpreted as regular functional loss within the same mechanism. This approach offers a holistic explanatory framework for phenomena often studied independently. This work builds upon a previously published short preprint to systematize the model, clarify its stages, and discuss its implications for fields related to medical neuroscience.
