Abstract

Foundational Consciousness Theory (FCT) is a non-materialist framework that posits consciousness as the primary, universal substrate from which matter, space, and time emerge as a biological ‘user interface’. It reconciles the universal experience of ‘the numinous’ with empirical evidence from evolutionary psychology, interspecies communication, and contemporary post-materialist physics. By integrating Markov Blanket mathematics with Interspecies Signalling data and Hyperscanning evidence, FCT provides a testable mechanism for cross-species cooperation.
