Abstract

In this study, we used a combination of qualitative research methods for an in-depth study of Early Career Researchers’ (ECRs) and Principal Investigators’ (PIs) achievement emotions and emotion management strategies at a research-intensive UK university. This data set comprises of 23 Letters and 5 Interview transcripts from ECRs and PIs. It also contains the data collection tools and the key demographic data of the participants.
