Abstract

This registration outlines the protocol for a scoping review mapping and synthesising theoretical conceptualisations and operational definitions of fragmented attention in algorithm driven short form video platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The review focuses on attention control and sustained attention constructs and includes studies published from January 2017 onwards.
