Abstract

a comprehensive analysis of the field is needed to clarify how cognitive interventions in women with breast cancer are conceptualized, implemented, and evaluated. A scoping review is particularly suitable for this purpose, as it enables the systematic mapping of existing evidence, characterization of intervention types and delivery parameters, and identification of the outcome measures and cognitive domains most frequently assessed, without restricting the analysis solely to intervention effectiveness (Peters et a., 2020). This scoping review seeks to identify and synthesize current research on the types of cognitive interventions and outcome assessments used in women with breast cancer.
