The Sovereignty of Thought: Reclaiming the Human Position Embedded in Process — A Proposal for the Restoration of Human Identity through the Four-Stage Thought Process
Abstract
This work presents the original formulation of a conceptual framework titled the “Four-Stage Thought Process,” designed to restore human cognitive agency in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and outcome-oriented systems. The framework reconceptualizes thought not as a means to efficient conclusions, but as a sovereign process essential to human identity. Drawing inspiration from the symbolic characteristics of the Four Gracious Plants—plum blossom, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo—this work proposes a cyclical, process-centered model of thinking that emphasizes resolve, contemplation, integrity, and release. This document constitutes the authoritative source of the framework’s structure, terminology, stage definitions, and conceptual scope. All intellectual content, conceptual architecture, and original expressions presented herein originate from the author and are introduced for the first time in this publication. The framework is intended as a transferable conceptual infrastructure applicable to philosophical practice, education, creative work, human-centered system design, and digital intellectual assets.
