A Review of the Scope of Prehabilitation Application in Patients with Traumatic Pelvic Fractures
Abstract
Objective: This study aims to analyze the pre-rehabilitation nursing strategies for patients with traumatic pelvic fractures and construct a multimodal implementation pathway, with the expectation of providing evidence-based guidance for clinical practice. Methods: Based on the scoping review research method, relevant literature was retrieved from databases including CNKI, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, China Biomedical Literature Database, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Embase. The search period was from the establishment of the databases to September 20, 2025. Two researchers screened, summarized, and analyzed the retrieved literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: A total of 12 articles were included. The content of pre-rehabilitation nursing strategies covered physiological and psychological interventions. The implementation models included personnel, location, duration, and evaluation indicators. Conclusion: Preoperative pre-rehabilitation can optimize the preoperative status of patients, enhance surgical tolerance, and improve postoperative recovery quality, while reducing complications. Pre-rehabilitation for traumatic pelvic fractures should follow a bio-psycho-social integrated path in a MDT model.
