Global Incidence and Prevalence of Islet Autoantibodies in Children and Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus: A Scoping Review Protocol

This protocol describes an updated scoping review to compile global evidence on the incidence and prevalence of islet autoantibodies (iAb) in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The resulting curated dataset will be used alongside data from a scoping review asessing global T1D incidence, as well as country-level data from the Global Collaborative for Changing Diabetes in Children (GC-CDiC) study to update and extend the global microsimulation model developed by Ward and Yeh et al. 2022.
