Dual Career (Worker-Athlete): A Scoping Review

This protocol presents the methodological framework for a scoping review designed to map and synthesize the existing scientific literature on the dual career pathways of athlete-workers. The review aims to identify and analyze the main themes, challenges, support mechanisms, public policies, and research gaps related to the lived experiences of athletes who simultaneously engage in professional employment and competitive sport. The review will be conducted in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR.
