Custos econômicos da violência por parceiro íntimo – protocolo de revisão de escopo
Abstract
This registration documents the final version of a scoping review protocol entitled “Economic costs of intimate partner violence: a scoping review protocol.” The objective of this scoping review is to map the scientific and grey literature on the economic costs associated with intimate partner violence (IPV), including impacts on victims, families, organizations, public services, and national economies. The review will identify types of economic costs, methodological approaches used for cost estimation, and the social, cultural, and economic contexts in which these costs have been studied. The review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews and will be reported in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR checklist. Studies of various designs, as well as grey literature, will be considered. The protocol specifies the research question, inclusion and exclusion criteria based on the PCC framework, search strategies, study selection procedures, data extraction, and plans for data analysis and presentation. This registration aims to ensure transparency, methodological rigor, and reproducibility of the review process.
