Scoping Review Protocol: Generative Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Energy Transition

This project presents a scoping review conducted following PRISMA-ScR guidelines to map current scientific evidence on the use of generative artificial intelligence in the energy transition. The review aims to identify key applications, methodological approaches, opportunities, challenges, and research gaps across different stages of energy systems, including planning, design, operation, and decision-making. Expected outcomes include a structured thematic synthesis of existing literature and identification of future research directions.
