Abstract

This project is a scoping review that aims to map and synthesize existing evidence on reproductive health education in enhancing adolescents’ self-protection against sexual abuse. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable due to limited knowledge of reproductive health, body boundaries, and personal safety skills. The review follows the Arksey and O’Malley framework, refined by Levac et al., and adheres to JBI guidelines. The research question was developed using the PCC framework (Population: adolescents; Concept: reproductive health education and self-protection; Context: all settings). Literature searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, EBSCO, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2020–2025. The findings are thematically mapped to support evidence-based educational strategies and inform policy and practice in adolescent sexual abuse prevention.
