Abstract

This OSF project hosts the supporting materials for the manuscript “Engineering evidence gaps in pear robotic harvesting: canopy-robot mismatch, denominator continuity and a research agenda”. The review screened 854 records across 11 databases and retained 106 eligible publications, of which 76 independent engineering studies formed the graded evidence base and 30 were retained as contextual support. Across the 76 studies, 371 quantitative candidate records were extracted and 13 reconstructable proportion effects from 7 independent studies were retained for exploratory proportion synthesis. The manuscript is organised around the harvesting chain from detection to throughput, with emphasis on canopy-workspace compatibility, collision-free execution, contact-force and damage evidence, cycle-time accounting, and denominator continuity. P3D-RVP is presented here as a reporting framework and audit tool, illustrated with a worked pear dataset, rather than as a field-ready validation standard or a complete meta-analysis. This repository contains the submission manuscript, Figs. 1–7, supplementary tables, and the source files supporting the graded evidence synthesis and second-pass rescue audit.
