Abstract

Using a hyperbolic function structure, this paper outlines an approximate inversion of Kepler's equation for the case where eccentricity = 1. The inversion function in question is treated as a parabolic limit describing the form the Kepler equation inverse for elliptical orbits takes as e approaches 1.
