Summarisation methods for electronic health record data: A scoping review protocol
Abstract
The objective of this scoping review aims to systematically identify, classify, and analyse text summarization methods applicable to electronic patient records and to identify the evidence available on AI-based patient record summarization tools. Findings will inform future research, guide clinical adoption, and support policy development on responsible integration in healthcare settings.
