CALCULATION METHODS IN COMPUTING
Abstract
Molecular Mechanics (MM) is a method in computational chemistry that uses the laws ofNewtonian classical mechanicsto model and calculate the properties of molecular systems (Susilo, A., 2023). Unlike quantum mechanics-based methods that calculate electron wave functions, MM does not explicitly consider electrons. Molecules are viewed as a collection of atoms (considered as spheres) and bonds (considered as springs).
