Reproducibility and Openness in One Health Evidence for Distance-Based Zoonotic Disease Control Policies
Abstract
Distance-based control measures between animal facilities and human housing are often used as part of One Health policies to reduce zoonotic disease risk. However, empirical evidence for specific distance thresholds is often poorly documented and hard to reproduce, which may limit their effectiveness for policy decisions. In this study, we aim to evaluate the current state of One Health research on distance-based control measures for animal facilities, focusing on reproducibility and openness in relation to human health.
