Abstract

This project presents a systematic review protocol examining how trust in public health authorities has been defined and measured within U.S. public health preparedness contexts since 2001. The review synthesizes conceptual frameworks and empirical measurement approaches to identify variation in prioritized trust dimensions and inconsistencies in operationalization. By clarifying areas of alignment and divergence, the study aims to inform the development of more coherent conceptual and measurement approaches to studying trust in public health authorities.
