Abstract

This study aims to validate a German translation of the Doomscrolling Scale (Sharma et al., 2022). The validation will encompass confirmatory factor analysis to assess the factor structure, internal consistency analyses to evaluate scale reliability, and comprehensive validity testing including assessments of convergent validity, discriminant validity, and criterion validity.
