Abstract

This project hosts the protocol and materials for a scoping review mapping digital biomarkers (wearables, smartphones, markerless video motion capture, and task-based mobile EEG) related to gait/balance impairment and fall risk during and after neurotoxic chemotherapy, with the goal of informing clinical decision support triggers. No language restrictions will be applied. Databases: PubMed, CINAHL (EBSCOhost), Web of Science, Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and ProQuest grey literature; supplementary searching includes Google Scholar and citation chasing. Search coverage is from database inception through 10 Feb 2026; no search update is planned. Protocol development began 1 Dec 2025; planned completion is 31 Mar 2026.
