The Positive-Λ Module of the Cosmological Constant Problem in Gauged Constant Vacuum-Mode Cosmology (Zenodo Mirror_v1.0.0)
Abstract
This OSF project provides a mirror and archival record for the preprint "The Positive-Lambda Module of the Cosmological Constant Problem in Gauged Constant Vacuum-Mode Cosmology" by Germund Johansson. The paper reports the Step-3 (sign-selection) module of the Gauged Constant Vacuum-Mode (GCV) cosmological constant programme. In this framework the cosmological constant appears as a flux-fixed integration constant in GR-exact gravity. Step-1 (radiative stability) and Step-2 (magnitude selection via the UV overlap-share / geometry mechanism) are treated as fixed inputs. The purpose of this note is to examine the remaining sign question: why the viable residual cosmological constant should be positive rather than negative. The analysis uses the finite-time recollapse asymmetry of flat FRW cosmologies with negative Lambda and implements a minimal late-time viability weighting. A sign-agnostic benchmark (sign-symmetric construction at fixed |x|) shows a robust preference for Lambda > 0 across conservative robustness scans. This OSF project mirrors the Zenodo archival release. Primary archival DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18871624
