Phytochemical and Biotechnological Evaluation of Trema micrantha in the Production of Functional Foods and Bee Products.

This research project aims to identify and quantify phytocannabinoids (CBD and THCV) in the native Brazilian species Trema micrantha. Furthermore, it investigates the potential transfer of these bioactive compounds into the honey and propolis produced by Jataí bees (Tetragonisca angustula) interacting with these plants.
