Abstract

This scoping review aims to fill this gap by mapping and synthesizing the types, characteristics, implementation strategies, outcomes, and contextual enablers and barriers of QI interventions in primary care settings across India. By systematically reviewing and analysing the existing evidence, this study seeks to provide a holistic understanding of QI efforts in Indian primary care, identify effective strategies, and highlight areas requiring further attention. The findings are expected to inform policymakers, healthcare providers, and researchers in designing and implementing more effective and contextually appropriate QI interventions, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of primary healthcare services in India.
