Psychoneurological Symptom Cluster in Cancer Survivors: A Concept Analysis through a scoping review methodology
Abstract
We synthesized its defining attributes, antecedents, consequences, and empirical referents. Clarifying the meaning and boundaries of PNSc may support more consistent longitudinal assessment and provide a foundation for future phenotype-oriented symptom-management research. The review addressed 3 questions: (1) How has PNSc in cancer survivors been defined and used in the existing literature? (2) Which defining attributes, antecedents, and consequences have been associated with PNSc? and (3) Which symptom domains, measurement instruments, and analytical approaches have been used to measure or identify PNSc?
