Mapping of Telepharmacy-based Mobile Health for Diabetic Care: A Scoping Review
Abstract
This protocol is part of a mobile health-based digital health study for diabetes patients. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that requires continuous and personalized management to prevent complications. Poorly controlled diabetes can lead to macrovascular and microvascular complications. The digital health approach, particularly the mobile-based diabetes care model involving pharmacists, has the potential to support continuous monitoring and improve treatment outcomes. However, the role of pharmacists in providing continuous digital support has not been fully explored. Therefore, a systematic scoping review using the Population–Concept–Context (PCC) framework was conducted, collecting evidence from PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science until May 31, 2025.
