Abstract

The post-polymerized protocol of 3-dimensionally (3D) printed resins influences the degree of conversion and polymer network integrity, which may affect their mechanical properties. Although laboratory studies have evaluated different post-polymerized devices and protocols, direct comparisons among these protocols are limited and inconsistent, hindering a clear understanding of their relative mechanical performance. In this context, due to the lack of direct comparisons among the various post-polymerized protocols reported in the literature, the application of a network meta-analysis becomes particularly relevant, as it enables the simultaneous comparison of multiple post-polymerized strategies, overcoming the limitations inherent to conventional meta-analyses.
