Abstract

This scoping review will be conducted to collate data surrounding the prevalence of frailty in women experiencing homelessness as well as the effects of exercise intervention on frailty in women experiencing homelessness. Within this scoping review we will aim to answer two questions “What is the global prevalence of frailty in women experiencing homelessness?” and “What is the effect of exercise on frailty in women experiencing homelessness?”. The aim of this review is to collate data in order to highlight gaps in existing literature, outline the scale of the issue and implications of exercise and to give grounds for future research. From this scoping review we expect to see a high prevalence of frailty amongst women experiencing homelessness alongside a positive effect from exercise on frailty in women experiencing homelessness.
