Toward Sustainable Biomedical Waste Management: A Scoping Review of Circular Economy Practices and Industry 5.0 Tools in Healthcare Systems

This project aims to conduct a scoping review, guided by the PRISMA-ScR methodology, to explore how circular economy principles and Industry 5.0 technologies are being applied to biomedical waste management in healthcare systems. The objective is to map existing practices, identify key technological and strategic approaches, and highlight gaps in the literature to inform future research and policy.
