Clustering of police records of youths
Abstract
We have received a file containing anonymized police records of young people. Since many different types of offenses have been recorded, we want to cluster these offenses. We will do this based on focus groups with various disciplines: science, policy/municipality, police, and young people themselves. Different clusters will likely follow from each discipline. The aim is to subsequently use clustering to determine whether young people follow a specific ''trajectory''/development of crimes over time.
