The Role of Nursing Case Management and Care Coordination in the Evaluation of Living Kidney Donors: A Scoping Review

This project aims to map and describe the existing literature on nursing case management and care coordination interventions within the evaluation pathway of living kidney donors. Using a scoping review methodology in accordance with the Arksey and O’Malley framework and PRISMA-ScR guidelines, the review will identify types of nursing-led coordination interventions, associated organizational, care-related, and psychosocial outcomes, as well as reported barriers and facilitators to implementation. The findings are intended to inform the development of structured nursing coordination models in living kidney donor evaluation pathways.
