The Consciousness Non-Exception Constraint (CNEC)

This project registers the original version of the methodological paper "The Consciousness Non-Exception Constraint (CNEC)". The paper proposes a methodological constraint on theories of consciousness, arguing that consciousness, as a macroscopic phenomenon, should not be treated as an exception to fundamental physical principles such as conservation laws and causal closure. The purpose of this registration is to establish a timestamped record of the CNEC paper, preserving authorship and originality. The project includes both a PDF version and the LaTeX source files. This is a theoretical/methodological work and does not involve participants, empirical data collection, experimental manipulation, randomization, or blinding. No testable hypotheses, variables, or analyses are included. The registration serves solely as a permanent record of the paper's original content.
