Comparative Efficacy and Safety of Endoscopic, Microsurgical, and Open Spine Surgery for Degenerative Lumbar Disease: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis
Abstract
This project is a systematic review and network meta-analysis comparing endoscopic spine surgery (ESS), microsurgical spine surgery (MSS), and open spine surgery (OSS) for degenerative lumbar conditions. It synthesizes direct and indirect evidence from randomized and prospective comparative studies to evaluate pain relief, functional outcomes, perioperative parameters, and safety, and to hierarchically rank the three surgical approaches.
