Second-Person Behavioral Alignment Modeling with the HAL Framework
Abstract
This project introduces the Human Alignment Log (HAL) framework, a second-person behavioral modeling approach designed to quantify relational alignment between paired agents. The model integrates thought, action, and contribution components into a unified index and defines relational asymmetry through the gapE metric. Simulation experiments across multiple relational scenarios demonstrate that the framework provides interpretable classification of interaction dynamics and temporal responses to interventions. The HAL framework offers a quantitative tool for analyzing dyadic behavioral alignment in psychological, social, and behavioral research contexts.
