Abstract

A scoping review to map how Food Action Groups (e.g., food policy councils, local food partnerships, coalitions/networks) are evaluated in high-income countries. The review will identify and classify evaluation frameworks, tools/instruments, and indicators/measures, and describe how measures are operationalised across evaluation levels (process, outputs, impacts, outcomes), including data sources and verification practices. Methods will follow Arksey & O’Malley’s six-stage framework with Levac et al.’s enhancements and be reported in accordance with PRISMA-ScR (including a flow diagram). A formal risk of bias appraisal will not be conducted, consistent with the purpose of scoping reviews to map evidence rather than appraise study quality.
