Abstract

This project aims to map the global scientific landscape of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment outcome research through bibliometric analysis. The study examines publication trends, research productivity, collaboration networks, citation patterns, and thematic evolution to identify major contributors, emerging topics, and knowledge gaps in the field. Relevant publications published between 2015 and 2025 will be retrieved from the Scopus database using predefined search terms related to MDR-TB and treatment outcomes. Eligible studies will be analyzed using Bibliometrix (R) and VOSviewer to visualize scientific collaboration and intellectual structure. The findings are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of MDR-TB treatment outcome research and to inform future research priorities, international collaboration, and evidence-based strategies for improving MDR-TB management.
