Foundational Objections to Discrete Spacetime Models and Their Resolution in the Methane Metauniverse Framework
Abstract
This article presents a systematic analysis of the main foundational objections commonly raised against discrete spacetime models. Focusing on the Methane Metauniverse MMU framework, it examines Bell nonlocality, superdeterminism, Lorentz invariance, and fine tuning from a unified geometric perspective. Each objection is addressed using explicit propositions, proofs, and numerical tests grounded in the canonical MMU structure. The work demonstrates that Bell type correlations arise from geometric projection rather than nonlocal signalling, that Lorentz symmetry emerges as a robust continuum limit of a dual tetrahedral lattice, and that fundamental constants follow from geometric necessity rather than parameter fitting. Clear falsifiability criteria and explicit kill tests are formulated, making the framework empirically and theoretically testable.
